The TUBAC ART EXCHANGE is a Unique Salon GALLERY offering rare and
beautiful paintings by classic, collectible artists at affordable
prices. We are also the sole representative in Arizona of the work of
Walter Blakelock Wilson, a master painter of
western landscapes.
The landscapes and custom paintings of Walter Blakelock Wilson are in
collections across the country, and many of his recent paintings are currently
on display in the Gallery. These are available in our unique LEASEART
program, which permits clients to enjoy works of art without committing
to purchase. All payments can apply to the purchase price if desired. |

Walter Blakelock Wilson founded The ART BANK in Colorado Springs in 1976, and continues
to provide Art and art services with the
TUBAC ART EXCHANGE. These services
include practical advice on the care, acquisition and liquidation of paintings,
prints, and other works of art. We buy, sell, trade and consign works
of Art and act as Art brokers. Our focus is on 19th and 20th century
Art.

Patty Wilson is originally from Auburn, New York.
After graduating from Cornell University, Patty worked for Proctor and
Gamble in market research. In 1952, Patty married artist Walter
Blakelock Wilson, and moved to Japan where Walter was stationed during
the Korean War. When the war ended, Patty and Walter and their two
infant daughters moved to Colorado. While in Colorado Springs,
Patty helped found their Leaseart business, and later co-founded The Art
Bank. During this time, Patty also raised six children. In 1988,
Patty and Walter moved to Tubac, Arizona, where she co-founded Old World
Imports. A few years later, she co-founded the Tubac Art Exchange.
Patty is still active as the art consultant and
accounts manager for the Tubac Art Exchange.

Ms. Schlitz moved from
Nashville, TN. to manage the Tubac Art Exchange in Tubac, AZ. A
former professional actress and acting coach, Polly had also studied
fine art extensively. She is the daughter of the renowned western
artist, Walter Blakelock Wilson, and the great-great grand daughter of
the American Master painter, Ralph Albert Blakelock, so Ms. Schlitz has
had a natural love for American Art. It was a perfect fit to become
Gallery Director of the Tubac Art Exchange, with its emphasis on
important artists of the 19th and 20th centuries, and featuring the
paintings of Walter Blakelock Wilson. Email:
